Hello!!

My interest in photography fructified in the surroundings of Norway where I had spend my initial years of adolescence. It was Norway as I had been exposed to fjords and bent sea for the first time.

It is difficult to find words to properly describe Fjord, Norway, considered by many to be the world’s best and most diverse destination. Words are inadequate because there is, without a doubt, something truly unique about the mountains, fjords, waterfalls, glaciers, cultural landscape, the people and the fjord cities.

Few places like Stavanger – European Capital of Culture 2008; Bergen – Gateway to the fjords of Norway; Sognefjord – King of the fjords; Aurora Borealis – Trømso (69° latitude). The northern lights or aurora borealis are an entrancing, dramatic, magical display that fascinates all who see it.

I recollect the bug of photography had bit me much before 2011; it was the year 2005 and my first shot was on a digital camera while moving from Kupwara to Tangdhar. There are thousands of shots that one can capture in this beautiful world and anyone can excel at it – specially these days where everyone has a handy smartphone to seize the memories and moments. My capturing of such moments of the beautiful surroundings and nature around us has been attained by the help of Canon 500D and iPhone camera.
